Get out your 1950’s coffee cup and enjoy the cooler weather. Dapper Day at Christmas. Start with the big Christmas tree and work your way around the parks. Lot’s of photo places.
Every day is like being a 1950’s kid.
Every Dapper Day weekend is filled with excitement, and this one was no exception. We got to connect with old friends and make new acquaintances. Everyone was chatting with each other about their outfits and the inspiration for them. Of course there was the intrigue of seeing all the holiday decorations around the parks, and hearing about what everyone has been doing for the past several months. The weather was nearly perfect for December. It was a little warmer than we had expected, but we were all grateful that it wasn’t freezing cold. The December skies gave new lighting effects to the scenery as well. Of course, being at Hollywood Studios we are never surprised when movie stars show up.
A Christmas to remember
Dapper Day and Movie Stars
Actress Joan and her award winning Hollywood photographer husband could be seen around the park at various sites. Joan was promoting her new movie, Victorian Lady, which has now been released and is playing in theaters around the country.
Estelle could be the new Shirley Temple.
Marina in her new elf outfit looked like part of the scenery.
Mother and daughter, Elizabeth and Patricia.
Elizabeth designed and made her own outfit. She traveled all the way from Washington state to join the festivities.
Alexandra and Jacob looked as elegant as always.
We have known Heather and Molly since before Molly was born. We always love seeing them for Dapper Day.
Elyse is an accomplished seamstress. She designed and made her dress with the detachable Christmas tree train.
We must always take time for a lunch break, especially with friends. Patti and Kari on the left and Patti and Christine on the right side.
It is always good to see Stewart. He is the epitome of classy dressing.
This year we caught up with Ann P. in the red jacket. We always seem to miss her by a few minutes, so this was a special treat.
