Dapper Day Sunday at Epcot Center. Taking a quiet little stroll along the river, with
a view overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Once again, we see the dapper gentleman
with his vintage camera, ready to shoot in case he sees the perfect shot as he
walks along.
A leisurely stop in an English village. Of course, it is Sunday, so this couple is doing
a little window shopping and taking the baby for a little stroll in her fancy new
pram.
Well, now and then, there is a view of
a futuristic scene with flowers and
ultramodern buildings. This is Epcot,
so let your imagination run wild.
Another stop on the
streets of France. One
never knows what they
will encounter when
visiting the lands of
Epcot.
Here we are in the
beautiful gardens of
Epcot. And the
plush gardens in the
Canada section are
breathtaking.
This reminds us of one of our favorite places in British Columbia, Butchart Gardens.
These gardens in Epcot are only a small portion of the beauty you can see there.
Canadian waterfalls, lush gardens full of flowers, a beautiful lake. What better way to
spend a Dapper Day Sunday! Since Dapper Day fell during the Flower and Garden
Festival at Epcot this year, the scenery was absolutely beautiful.
How romantic to be able to stand by a pretty lake and
just enjoy the views of so many different countries.
In England, Ray found time to catch some photographs of the beautiful baby in the
pram. He is the epitome of a photographer at heart.
This couple always seems to find a reason or
an occasion to kiss. You would think they
would be tired of each other by this age, but I
guess not.
Still managing to find time
to clown around a little
during photo time. I think
you are never too old to
find the silly side of life.
The England pavilion in Epcot has beautiful gardens
year ‘round, and picturesque buildings that are a
wonderful backdrop for pictures. Everywhere we
looked, we found other pretty places for pictures.
There is a hedge maze and a round-topped gazebo
that are favorites for everyone for photo
opportunities.
Ah, Italy and the canals of Venice! Actually there are no canals, and the
gondolas are only for show, but it is pretty scenery and you know which
country you are seeing by the water features. The pavilion also features
gorgeous architecture, statues and a fountain and has live entertainment
throughout the day.
What a fabulous day at Epcot. Lots of sunshine (sometimes a little TOO warm,
but still so much better than rain), beautiful flowers, multiple food options, and
really breathtaking scenery and architecture. Add that to the fact that it was
Dapper Day and we got to see so many more people dressed in wonderful Dapper
Day clothing, and it was a wonderful day.
Even the lady tries her hand at getting the perfect picture of the baby in
the buggy. I wonder who got the best shot!
Scenery and vegetation
throughout the park was
wonderful. Epcot is full
of trees and plants that
are a feast for the eyes.
