Hide the puppies Alexandra and Jacob. Cruella is Alexandra or is it Alexandra is Cruella? She is so good at dressing as Cruella you must see her in person. With the new Cruella movie being released, her portrayal of Cruella is the perfect tribute.

April Dapper Day and the weather was great.

We were still at Disney Springs for Dapper Day

A lot of people still do not have tickets to Disney. Not everything is open and you have to have a reservation to get into the parks. One park only per day. They are starting to let you into a second park after 2:00pm. Some people can’t get a reservation for the day they want or with the group of people they would like to be with. By the end of June 2021 things should get better. The shows are starting to come back and fireworks shows are scheduled to start up again on July 1st.

Disneyland in California is to reopen in mid June 2021 and

Disney Paris also before the end of June.

After California had restricted public places being open, they finally lifted the restrictions and Disneyland in California opened in June of 2021. Disney Paris opened in June, also and was the final Disney park to open worldwide. Things have not opened up completely, some of the restaurants and shows have not opened yet, but just having the parks open and some of the rides available has been welcome news for Disney fans worldwide.

For Dapper Day in April of 2021, many of us still didn’t have tickets for the Disney parks yet, so several of us met at Disney Springs the evening before, just to see each other and be able to see each other again. Nothing official had been planned, so it was just a time to see friends and to be able to dress up without going to the traditional Dapper Day events.

This was the first time we got to meet Estelle in person. She is one of our newest friend, and we’re already in love with her. Of course we already love her parents, Daniel and Anne.

Yes, masks are still mandatory in public areas at Disney Springs. We are happy to oblige. The more people abide by the rules, the sooner we all hope we can get past the pandemic and get back to life as we knew it before.

As you can see from the photos, Dapper Day eve held beautiful weather for us. It was actually pretty warm, but everybody was comfortable. We loved seeing how most people coordinated their masks with their outfits. Many of the ladies sew their own masks, so they use fabric from their dresses as the fabric in their masks, or color coordinate them to go along with their dresses. Masks have almost become another fashion accessory like hats and gloves. We continue to be fashionable within the regulations or restrictions.
